Family Vacation! We went on our first family vacation in August 2002. We visited the big Zoo in Toronto, as well as the CN Tower! and then we continued on to London. Here are some "highlight" pictures of the trip... Toronto- At the Zoo Getting ready for the trip! We are having some races in the parking lot at a stopover at Kingston before getting back in the car for another two hours (we just finished driving two hours already- when are we going to get to the zoo already?!). Here I am at the zoo!!! I am even wearing my special "safari" outfit that my grandma Jo and Papa Len brought back for me from Africa! I fit right in with all the animals. ;) One of the first things we did at the zoo was feed these birds! They seem to like this yellow stuff a lot! This bird came to land right on Pauly's shoulder, can you believe it?! We found the giraffes!! They are pretty hard to miss, wow are they ever tall! Mommy loved the giraffes the best of all! Checking out the flamingos! The seal show was one of the coolest parts of the zoo! We got to see them eat some fish. After the show, we watched one of the seals swimming around! She pushed off the walls of the tank with her strong front flippers. I took this picture of the warthogs all by myself! There was a mommy and kiddos! The elephants were walking around outside when we saw them! Getting ready to leave the zoo (I was getting very tired by this time!) Toronto - The CN Tower Look, there's lake Ontario! I'm showing mommy just how far we can see! Pauly and I checking out the sights! I'm swimming! on the glass floor. I think my mom was a bit scared, but I helped her by going with her... Look waaaay down! See those tiny people on bikes?! I think that was way cool, they are smaller than toys down there! London - Checking out the ring-tailed lemurs at Storybook Gardens... I found my way through the maze at Storybook Gardens! Playing at the children's museum's mini town in London! YUMMY! Look what we got to eat! :) This is where we got to eat our last meal in London! I was so impressed that we were at "MY" restaurant! :) Back to main Pics page...
