Week 30

(September 30th- October 7th)

Emotional:

This week started off pretty badly, but got better. On Wednesday morning, I went grocery shopping. My aunt had given me an old fold-up metal carrier (I wish I knew what they were called, sorry that's the best I can do to describe it) and I was excited about trying it out to go grocery shopping. It was fine on the way there, but on the way back, it couldn't stand the weight of the groceries and broke several times. Not a good thing when you're pregnant, alone, and dealing with stairs! My weekend went much better- I did a really good show on Saturday night. Then on Sunday, Sarah and I went back to the Sunday brunch with Krissie and Jen for another taste of those yummy waffles with whipped cream! :) All the while, I'd been planning and waiting to get paint for Harmony's room and finally did at 9:00 on Monday night! You'd think I would have been tired after a whole day of activity, but for some reason I just couldn't wait, and so, at about 9:30 p.m., there I was, dragging a gallon can of paint home, with another quart of paint in my knapsack! I'll be doing the room in peach and purple and can't wait to start! I was even tempted to start Monday night!

Chris is coming home for Thanksgiving weekend (next weekend!) and I'm so excited! I can't wait to see him and also see his reaction to my tummy, which is so much bigger than the last time he saw it. I'm hoping Harmony will be active this weekend so he'll get to feel her kick and move around. I'm planning on painting all day Thursday, so hopefully I'll be mostly done so he can see the baby's room, all painted and ready for her!

Physical:

I'm exhausted! Being out and about all week has really worn me down. That grocery expedition started off some severe back pain, and carrying home the paint didn't help any! My ankles are also pretty swollen, a little scary to look at sometimes!

As for Harmony, she had the hiccups for the first time! It was so cute, seeing my tummy jump like that! She continues to be alert and active, especially right before I go to sleep, and as I'm waking up.

Continue to the next week...
